Windowless air conditioners can save you lots of money and energy.   It does not make sense to cool your entire house if there are only three rooms that you actually use such as your office, bedroom and kitchen. 

It also does not make sense to have a traditional air conditioner that only fits in certain windows and that does not allow the cool air to reach the area of the house that you are sitting in. 

With a windowless air conditioner, you can have the cool air in the area where you are without wasting money and energy in rooms that you are not using.

Windowless air conditioners come in a variety of sizes and powers depending on your needs.  Normally they can range in price from $300 to $700 and often times even more.  You should browse around stores to see which unit benefits you the best. 

However, some of the biggest names for these portable units are Amcor, Fujitronic, Sunpentown and Delonghi.  Depending on which system you invest in, you should realize if the windowless air conditioners have a self-evaporating technology or if you will have to empty out the water collected by the condensation.  If you do not want to be bothered by this detail, then you may want to pay more for this evaporation system.
